Planning an event is stressful enough during normal times, but during this time, I know things couldn't be more uncertain. I want to make sure you are aware of our strict protocols that I follow to keep my clients safe and at ease.

Ever since I qualified and obtained ITEC Makeup qualification from Portobello College, I have always carried out a high hygiene and sanitation standard regardless. However, this is a reminder that no safety will be compromised with me as your makeup artist.

I use only high quality dentist grade PPE supply. Prior to your appointment I will be in touch to provide a screening sheet and all the relevant info related to the location of makeup application.

I will wear a disposable or cloth mask at all times while on location and during makeup applications. I also wear a face shield and latex-free gloves during makeup application.

All my brushes are thoroughly washed with professional grade 99.99% disinfectant brush cleaner in between use for each client. For weddings or any job with multiple clients back to back: brushes are separated into sets for each person, to be used for each person and that person only throughout the day.

All palettes and items in kit, including the surface mat where products are placed, are disinfected with 90% isopropyl alcohol spray before each day of use. All cream makeup (skincare, primers, cream blushes, bronzers, lipsticks) are scooped out of containers and placed onto a disinfected metal palette or disposable palette for each client so there is absolutely no double dipping into any containers. All pencils and tools (eyeliners, eyebrow pencils, lip liners, eyelash curler and tweezers) are sprayed with 90% isopropyl alcohol disinfectant spray before and after each use.

One-use disposable wands are used for mascara and eyebrow gels. Hand sanitizer is kept fully stocked in kit and used between clients as well as routinely throughout application.

Rescheduling and cancellations

As this time is difficult for us all in our own unique ways, I try to be as flexible as possible while still being fair to the rest of my prospective brides. I believe that no one’s money should get lost.

If you must reschedule or cancel your event due to health concerns, your booking fee will be rolled over to a new date subject to the availability.
